    Finance Manager

    Key Responsibilities:
    Financial Planning and Reporting:

    • Develop and monitor budgetary guidelines, forecasts, and financial plans.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insightful reports and recommendations for management decision-making.
    • Identify and implement innovative financial strategies and initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

    Financial Analysis and Management:

    • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
    • Assess, recommend, and implement strategies to optimize cash flows, working capital, and profitability.
    • Provide financial guidance and support on investment decisions, cost control, and expense management.
    • Monitor and interpret financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial performance and efficiency.

    Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies.
    • Oversee internal controls and procedures to mitigate financial risks and safeguard assets.
    • Lead external audits and coordinate internal audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work culture within the finance department.
    • Ensure proper training and development programs are implemented to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
    • Identify and address performance issues, while recognizing and rewarding success.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • CA(SA)
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting regulations, and financial management best practices.
    • In-depth understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • High level of integrity, ethics, and attention to detail.
