The Role

Job Description:

• Ensure monthly stock counts are done
• Ensures company meets with IFRS and other statutory requirements
• Maintain asset registers
• Audits and identifies variances
• Maintains effective asset reporting ratios/systems
• Actions corrective action relating to external auditor reports
• Audits and reports on variances
• Reports on progress of the company in terms of forecast vs budget
• Maintain accounting system
• Oversees the full financial function
• Maintains books of accounts
• Monthly variance reporting
• Develops, maintains and implements company financial policies and procedures
• Maintains administrative systems
• Submits returns to statutory bodies and institutions (Financial)
• Ensures adherence to legal requirements
• Prepares and submits reports and recommendations
• Submission of tax and VAT returns
• Yearend audits

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience

Qualification:

• CA(SA) (Non-negotiable)
