Finance Manager at Communicate Recruitment

Job Duties:

• Consolidation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Analysis of accounts of an entity and proposing adjusting entries
• Preparation of Value added tax returns and the submission
• Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness
• Income tax computations
• Budget preparations and variance analysis
• Prepare financial and regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, and boards of directors- assist in the preparation of the listed parent Integrated Annual Report, financial statements – for the group
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable activities
• Perform account reconciliation activities
• Providing and interpreting financial information
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
• Liaising with Internal and External audit and review of reports and provision of management comments
• Preparation of Audit and Risk and board packs which include financial reports, operational reports, risk reports
• Supervising junior staff members
• Liaising with Company secretarial and Compliance officers

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ financial services experience
• Strong consolidations and IFRS knowledge

Qualification:

• BCom
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
