    Finance Manager

    Brief Description:

    Job Description:

    Your responsibility will include but is not limited to: 

    • Provide strategic direction for the finance department and align financial planning with company goals.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, monitor cash flow, and manage working capital.
    • Collaborate across departments to improve operational efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Lead a team of 7 accountants and handle statutory submissions, including IRP5, COID, and UIF.
    • Prepare monthly management reports and annual financial statements for the group, and assist with audits.
    • Oversee the monthly creditor reconciliation process, ensuring invoices, VAT, and payments are correctly allocated.
    • Review creditor statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies, ensuring alignment with the general ledger.
    • Handle credit applications and ensure proper allocation of expenses and intercompany recharges.
    • Supervise the monthly billing process, perform variance analysis, and manage billing for recoveries and claims.
    • Ensure timely tenant billing and review revenue accounts and accruals.
    • Oversee the insurance claims process and ensure proper follow-ups.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to make decisions under pressure.
    • Attention to detail, hands-on approach, and ability to hold employees accountable.
    • Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of service delivery impact.

    Skills & Experience: 

    • Minimum of 5 years in management
    • Multiple industry experience will be advantageous

    Qualification:

    • Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles will be advantageous
    • BCom degree 
    • Grade 12 (Matric)
