Finance Manager (JB3797) - Benoni at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Financial Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Financial Manager in a hotel setting
• Proficiency in Pastel Partner and Pastel Evolution
• Experience with Pastel Evolution (Asset Model) and Apex (Front Office System)
• Strong operational experience in the hospitality industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate weekly revenue reports
• Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts
• Three-month forecasting
• Month-end management accounts
• Handle statutory payments and reconciliations (PAYE, VAT, and WCA)
• Manage the company’s local bank accounts and oversee cash flows
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure stock files are up to date, and perform monthly stock takes
• Manage outstanding debtors of the property
• Develop and manage financial systems/models
• Prepare and manage the company budget
• Manage variable controllable expenses using prescribed documents
• Compile monthly payroll information
• Prepare monthly management packs and financial reports
• Set up and implement controls across the business
• Set up effective inventory control systems
• Manage staff
• Oversee HR function
• Compile monthly payroll information
• Manage the company's BEE, SD, and EE initiatives
