Finance Manager- Johannesburg North at Communicate Recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that accurate accounting records are maintained in accordance with IFRS for SMEs. Prepare relevant and accurate monthly financial reports.
• Prepare and process monthly income and expense reimbursements together with adjustment journals.
• Monitor monthly actual expenditure against budgets, identify variances and ensure that the necessary follow up action is taken.
• Prepare monthly Donor Management Account commentary and variance analysis for review by the CFO.
• Prepare monthly Revenue Outlook Report for review by the CFO.
• Review, approve and post all non-routine general journals and transactions.
• Oversee the functioning of the Sage 300 system, including software updates, including year-end processes and budget uploads.
• Assist with the annual corporate budgeting process for the company and prepare operational forecasts for review by the CFO.
• Prepare quarterly Board Reports for the CFO review of all companies.
• Review the monthly payroll processing in collaboration with HR and ensure timeous staff payments.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Extensive Sage 300 knowledge and experience.
• At least 10 years work experience in an accounting/finance environment.
• Team management and leadership experience.
