This opportunity is with a well-established multinational mining services business that provides specialised drilling solutions to the mining sector across Africa. The role is based in Johannesburg and is responsible for the finance function supporting the Tanzania and Kenya operations. Working closely with both Group Finance and operational management, the successful candidate will oversee monthly financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow, statutory and tax compliance, audit support, and multi-currency transactions while ensuring strong financial controls across the region. The position also involves partnering with country managers to monitor profitability, working capital and operational performance, as well as driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies. It is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Financial Accountant with experience in mining or a similar operational environment who enjoys combining technical accounting with commercial business partnering in a fast-paced, multinational setting.
