Financial Accountant at Communicate Recruitment

Job Description: 

• Responsible for the record-to-report process flow, driving efficiencies and improvements on both the system and business process
• Responsible for transactional processing, including foreign currency revaluations for selected modules and processing of journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Inter-company loan reconciliations and interest calculations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register for the region, including the processing of all relevant journals relating to depreciation, additions, disposals and profit and loss entries
• Assist with and manage monthly stock takes, variance and query resolution, margin analysis
• Year-end audit preparation, collating information and preparing audit files
• Ensuring compliance with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements as per regulatory and statutory bodies

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4 years' commercial experience
• Knowledge of SAGE 300

Qualification:

• Bcom Accounting degree
