Salary

Based on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Full Bookkeeping and accounting function to Balance Sheet
• Maintaining the fixed assets registers
• Monthly depreciation
• Monthly journals
• Maintaining Stock Values
• Compilation of monthly management accounts 
• Reconciliations
• Daily supplier payments (FNB)
• VAT + PAYE + UIF + SKILLS + TAX calculation and submissions
• Budgeting 
• Ad hoc admin duties

Requirements / skills:

• A BCom (Financial Accounting) or similar degree
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position, articles completed
• Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Strong affiliation to systems, and accuracy within the administration systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Must love figures and enjoy reconciliations
