The Financial Accountant is responsible for the preparation of accurate financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role plays a critical part in monthly closings, audits, and tax compliance.
Prepare financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Assist in tax filings and ensure accurate tax records.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and address tax compliance issues.
Advise on tax-efficient strategies for clients.
Average Salary:
R500,000 - R750,000 per year
Relevant Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CA(SA) or ACCA qualification (preferred)
3-5 years' experience in accounting or financial reporting
In-depth knowledge of South African tax laws and financial regulations
