Financial Accountant at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets, and other key monthly reports.
• Project Management: Lead funding and grants-related projects to ensure effective financial planning and allocation.
• Tax, VAT, and Compliance: Oversee tax and VAT submissions, manage insurance requirements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Payroll and CAPEX: Handle payroll processing, capital expenditures, and related financial aspects.
• Strategic Financial Support: Address financial challenges and provide solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: BCom in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. A post-graduate qualification is beneficial.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Financial Accountant with strong experience in a manufacturing (plant/factory) environment.
• Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.
