A well-established organisation within the automotive industry is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for an analytical finance professional with strong commercial acumen who enjoys working with pricing, budgeting, financial planning, and reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making while ensuring compliance with local and international reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial feasibility studies and pricing analysis for vehicle products.
Ensure accurate pricing of new products and support approval processes.
Analyse vehicle price indices and monitor forecast versus actual costs.
Prepare product costing information for budgeting and medium-term financial planning.
Maintain business models and support head office system updates.
Assist with pricing implementation, including vehicle options, packages, and ad hoc pricing requests.
Evaluate dealer, rental, and government incentives and ensure accurate reconciliations.
Prepare tenders, rental proposals, and pricing submissions.
Compile pricing documentation for quarterly pricing and tender meetings.
Manage incentive budgets, provisions, overhead allocations, and fixed cost allocations.
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management advantageous.
3–5 years' financial analysis experience, preferably within the motor or related industry.
Strong understanding of financial planning, pricing, budgeting, and reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with a collaborative approach to working across departments.
