    Financial Analyst

    About The Role

    • The Role in part will be supporting the design and execution of Financial & Risk business’ Go-To-Market’s Sales and Revenue reporting and forecasting activities. Other duties will include supporting decision support activities around Go-To-Market organization where needed and becoming a strong user of financial systems (e.g. IBM Proclarity, Metapraxis Sales Forecasting Tool, Oracle Hyperion).
    • The successful candidate will join the existing team in Cape Town and become part of the wider Financial & Risk’s global finance community.


    Responsibilities Of The Financial Analyst

    • Reporting to the Director of Finance – Revenue FP&A
    • Contribute to the monthly Revenue reporting, forecasting and performance management analysis
    • Assist in the Monthly/Quarterly Revenue Reporting close and planning process
    • Assist the GTM Regional finance team with any queries and requests
    • Data Controls & Governance including but not limited to Customer and Product Hierarchy
    • Identify areas for Global Process Improvement and Simplification
    • Assistance with Audit Queries
       

    General Requirements

    • The successful candidate is detail oriented, curious, proactive and asks questions - both of management and of themselves – and seeks to understand the context of their role in the wider organization.
    • The successful applicant will be ambitious, career focused with a keen desire to learn and absorb increasing responsibilities.
    • Have effective oral/written communication skills and presentation skills
    • Power user in MS Excel & PowerPoint
    • Studying or desire to study CIMA, ACCA certification preferred (Supported Study Package)
       

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate Degree; Accounting/Finance degree preferred but not required
    • 0-4 years of post undergraduate experience
