    Financial Controller Reporting and Analytics

    Job Description    
    CocaCola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in the Finance Department.
    We are looking for a talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Financial Controller: Reporting & Analytics role, which is based in CCBSA, COF Midrand.
    The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Manager: Reporting & COGS in CCBSA Midrand.

    Key Purpose
    The primary purpose of this role is to:

    •  Provide CCBSA with strong, integrated analytical insights that enables the delivery of CCBSA's financial performance
    •  Support operational line managers and finance teams to deliver the required outputs
    •  Ensure accurate and insightful financial reporting is provided within deadlines
    •  Partner with and develop line managers' financial acumen and provide support to deliver on operational opportunities and projects
    •  Develop and maintain an effective management reporting solution for CCBSA

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs

    •  Partner with the FM: Reporting and COGS, FP&A and Operational Finance Teams to generate deep analytical insights on CCBSA's financial performance. Particularly identifying the opportunities for operational execution.
    •  Translate overall analytical insights and analysis into detailed deliverables
    •  Supporting CCBSA's strategy and cost savings initiatives
    •  Provide a financial reporting service, including written analysis and commentaries on all financial reports, forecasts and plans.
    •  Ensure that all reports are accurate, variances are analysed and all deadlines met
    •  Prepare monthly and year end accounts in accordance with the Group accounting policy and information requirements
    •  Attendance of stock counts and ensure compliance to hard close and year end procedures
    •  Review and analyse month end reporting packs
    •  Review and sign off on appropriate statutory submissions including month end, hard close, yearend submissions
    •  Generate integrated analytical insights:
    •  Make use of analytical methodology, trending and KPI' as tools to generate insights
    •  Generate analytical insights and identify opportunities for operational improvements
    •  Partner with managers to execute against identified cost saving initiatives
    •  Review and/or preparation of trend analysis, side by side, internal and external benchmarking data. Detailed analysis of core functional costs to identify opportunities to reduce these costs.
    •  Benchmarking reporting processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and improving the CCBSA reporting function
    •  Strong business partnering support with Operational Finance teams to deliver on strategic objectives
    •  Build strong, collaborative and effective work relationships with managers to influence decision making and ensure implementation that delivers results.
    •  Identify and train operational managers on financial acumen, governance and policy changes
    •  Consolidating and preparing the data for budget presentation purposes
    •  Develop, maintain and enhance management reporting tools to optimise and standardise reporting
    •  Support the compliance to the CCBSA reporting standardisation guidelines to enable accurate and reliable management reporting
    •  Assisting with CCBSA HFM submissions
    •  Supply of ad hoc commercial competence training and support.

    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications and Experience

    •  CA (SA) / CIMA
    •  A minimum of 3+ years' post qualification experience
    •  1 - 3 years' operational finance experience
    •  Previous experience in managing a complex reporting function

    Competencies
     A high level of computer literacy (HFM, SAP, Margin Minder, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

    •  Outstanding business analysis skills to generate business insight, scenarios and add measurable value
    •  Track record of effective performance management and developing staff
    •  Effective at driving change and driving teams to achieve results
    •  Goal orientated and committed to delivering quality outputs
    •  High attention to detail, with emphasis on accounting and reporting skills
