Financial Director, ALLISA at Air Liquide

• Manage financial operations and activities, including accounting, tax and treasury.
• Member of the EXCOM of the Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa, and contributes to the investment decisions and to the entity strategy.
• Report accurate reliable financial results within the prescribed deadlines and quality
• Ensure that the external audit process is controlled and that unqualified audit reports are obtained.
• Ensure the implementation and adoption of internal controls, aiming at ensuring the integrity of the accounts in compliance with standards and regulations in a business-oriented manner.
• Treasury management: Monitor the cash flow, the cash resources of the entity and the Working Capital Requirements.
• Manage insurance portfolio for the Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa entity..
• Provide a complete procurement support function for all expenditures with external suppliers, responsible for the provision of professional expertise regarding the implementation and development of procurement. Assist in developing a strategy related to preferential procurement and align to business strategy.
• Ensure operational excellence (Customer service, IMS, Safety, Compliance, Ethics, Internal Controls).
• Manage and motivate teams to achieve the objectives set while developing talents for South Africa and for the Group.
• Drive continuous Improvement, innovation & efficiencies initiatives to improve competitiveness and customer service.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Education: Chartered Accountant SA minimum required
• 10-15 years Finance experience
• Analyzing financial data and business KPI to identity key issues and appropriate decisions
• Knowledge of ERP system integration of financial rules
• Ability to interact with auditors and banks
• Good knowledge of IFRS
