JOB SUMMARY

A leading retailer and manufacturer  is currently recruiting for a Director of Finance and Administration to join their team.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial support to the concern and the Executive Committee. You will also be responsible for driving the financial, and risk management operations on all strategic matters including the development of a financial and operational strategy and ongoing development and monitoring of control systems. The will also be the element of overseeing administrative, financial, risk and compliance requirements for the group as well as maintaining good corporate governance.

EDUCATION

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 8-10 years’ post article experience in managing a finance environment
• At least 5 years’ experience at an executive or senior management level
• JSE listed experience is preferred
• Experience in the retail or manufacturing industries is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in performing the full finance/CFO role
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Experience in financial management, corporate governance, relationship management, reporting, modeling and analysis
