Financial Manager -Automation (Western Cape) at Flash Group

What you’ll own 

• Become an Anaplan Model builder and help build out the FP&A process on the platform
• Assist finance in going from manual to automated processing.
• Identify and address bottle necks in the finance workflows
• Assist in the process of ERP implementation and feature enhancements
• Build out financial reporting models
• Deep dive into finance operations to understand, analyze, and identify areas for automation.
• Drive process improvements by integrating financial, business, and technical insights.
• Design and implement both interim and fully productionised solutions
• Be the liaison between Finance department and Tech department on technical builds 
• Own project implementations from inception to user adoption and full operational use
• Research, source and cost the use of outsourcing where necessary
• Management expectations and have regular update meetings
• Ensure high quality of all project outcomes before the completed product is presented to the end user
• Improving/automating of finance recon and reports and processes for finance team to use
• Being a data custodian for finance and divisional reports

Requirements

Experience we’re looking for 

• CA (SA) / CFA / Engineering
• 5+ years of work experience including Articles
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerBI. 
• Experience with SQL server environment is a plus.
• Sage X3 or 300 experience
• Anaplan Model building proficiency highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability in building and managing data models and reporting layers.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of automating business processes leading to operational efficiency
• PowerBI data flows.
• Ability Design, implement, and maintain scalable data models to cater to business needs.
• Ability to manage and make sense of complex data sets
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Keep updated with the latest in the field of business process automation and data management.
