Financial Manager – Fruit Industry – Cape Town at Agricruitment Limited

Reporting to the Assistant Business Manager: Finance you will be based at their Cape Town offices (Tygervalley-area).

Minimum knowledge & experience required to perform this job competently:

Education & Experience:

• BCom or equivalent/relevant qualification
• Minimum 8 years financial accounting experience
• Experience in the Fruit Export Industry will be an advantage
• Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) include:
• • Manage all payments to their Fruit Suppliers
• Ensure on time and correct payment to their valued Fruit Suppliers
• Main contact between Finance and Fruit Suppliers
• Forecasting of Cash Estimates for weekly Fruit Suppliers payments
• Submission of Breeding Club Declarations
• Manage credit facility and credit risk to their Fruit Suppliers – mainly advances and seasonal production loans
• Ensure all documents are in place for Due Diligence and Payback Analysis
• Create loan agreements and ensure accurate T&C’s
• FICA and NCR compliance
• GL Reconciliations – Timeous Review and Completion of Fruit Suppliers Related GL Recons
• Monthly Reporting – Contribution to accurate & timeous monthly and annual financial reporting
