    Financial Manager

    About the Role:

    • A respected organization in the staffing industry is seeking a driven Finance Manager to lead financial operations and provide strategic insights. This position is ideal for a skilled finance professional with a BCom in Finance or Accounting, and professional memberships such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA are highly preferred. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating across teams, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on business growth and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting: Deliver concise weekly and monthly reports covering DSO, revenue, margins, cash flow, and brand performance.
    • Revenue & Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure data accuracy with regular reconciliations and clear reporting processes.
    • Cost Control & Journals: Oversee expense management, payroll journals, commission calculations, inter-company balances, and client payment schedules.
    • Bank & Transaction Oversight: Coordinate with banking partners and manage transaction uploads, optimizing financial workflows.
    • Analytical Reporting: Prepare detailed Excel-based reports with insights on budget variances and brand trends.
    • Quarterly Budgeting: Lead the budgeting process each quarter to align financial planning with strategic goals.
    • Team Leadership: Manage and support a small accounting team (two direct reports), fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

    Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

    • Qualified CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years in a senior finance or accounting role, in a multinational/multi-currency environment
    • Minimum of 1-2 years management experience
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, experience, and proficiency in NAV/SAP software. Knowledge of UK/Irish tax and statutory requirements is a plus.
    • Excellent communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration across departments and clear reporting to stakeholders.
