Financial Manager at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all financial activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with local and international standards.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, providing strategic insights to optimize resource allocation and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, capital expenditures, and working capital, ensuring financial stability and long-term growth.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies that support business objectives.
• Ensure effective risk management by identifying financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
• Oversee tax, VAT, and other regulatory compliance matters, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local tax laws and industry regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

• BCom in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent & Post-graduate qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in financial management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
