Fixed Term Contract: Risk Management Specialist at Pepkor Lifestyle

Company Overview:

• The Risk Officer is responsible for conducting investigations, risk audits, and security assessments to ensure that assigned retail stores comply with policies and procedures.
• This role involves proactively identifying theft-related risks, fraud, operational failures, and compliance breaches while supporting store teams in mitigating these risks.
• The Risk Officer collaborates with the Risk Manager to implement effective risk controls, improve store security measures, and minimise financial losses.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in risk management, auditing, investigations, or security in a retail environment.
• At least 3 years of branch management experience in a retail setting is required.
• Experience working with law enforcement or forensic investigations is advantageous.
• A diploma or degree in Risk Management, Security Management, Forensic Investigation, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, communication, planning and prioritising, Attention to detail, Investigative orientation.
