Fleet and Distribution Controller at Network Recruitment

Overall Job Purpose:   Management of all aspects of fleet and distribution including but not restricted to internal fleet control (covering fuel, maintenance and tyres management), external outsourced transport providers and related systems/processes.
Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management
• Assist in compiling of fleet policy and act as custodian thereof.
• Manage the acquisition process and the definition of appropriate vehicles.
• Manage fleet disposal process
• Distribution Management
• Assist in compiling of outsourced transport policy and definition of Transporter Service Level Agreement
• Selection and vetting of transport service providers
• Reviewing of supplier rates and benchmarking against market

Essential Required Qualification:

• National Diploma in Operations Management/Fleet Management
• 3 Years’ experience in a similar role
• 3 Years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven track record with implementation and policy formulation
• Track record of fleet cost reduction
