Floor Supervisor -Volpes - Roodepoort at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Job Description
Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide ongoing feedback to the Store Manager regarding sales floor improvements. 
• Ensure all customers are greeted and offered assistance promptly; staff should remain available and attentive. 
• Monitor individual sales staff performance and report underperformance with suggested solutions to management. 
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge within all allocated departments. 
• Ensure timely entry of customer orders into the order book. 
• Oversee shelf stocking; communicate stock shortages to the Store Manager for reordering. 
• Continuously monitor stock levels and replenish as needed throughout the day. 
• Ensure all items are accurately priced, labelled, and shelf-talkers are correctly placed, report discrepancies. 
• Immediately report and remove damaged stock from the floor, ensuring proper documentation is completed. 
• Maintain attractive and updated merchandising displays across all store areas. 

Experience and Skills: 

• Grade 11 
• Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory 
• Proven track record in customer service and sales performance 
• Experience in stock control, merchandising, and staff supervision
