A minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. Ability to read and write. Be prepared to work shifts on rotation basis. Must have a good interpersonal skills and effective team working relationship. One year experience in public service will serve as an added advantage.
Duties :
Perform all general duties related to Food Service as delegated by the Food Service Supervisor, such as pre-preparation of food, preparation of food, dishing up for patients.
Application of hygiene and safety measures, weighing of ingredients for production purposes. Transport food (Breakfast, Lunch and Supper) to patients from Food service to the wards.
Ensure effective maintenance of equipment/ trollies. To execute any lawful additional tasks issued by a competent person (Food Service Supervisor/ Manager). To check accuracy of packed meals and snacks into packed food trolley and sign on the appropriate form.
