Food Service Assistants X2 at University of Mpumalanga (UMP)

Job Primary Purpose

• The main purpose of this position is to prepare meals in any of the allocated kitchens and as per set menus. The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring that all food production and service areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. The incumbent will ensure food safety during preparation and service.

Key Performance Areas:

• Food preparation & service.
• Health, hygiene and safety.
• Kitchen & food service area maintenance.
• Training students.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12. 
• 3 years’ experience as a Chef.
• Registration with any relevant professional board will be an added advantage.
