• Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint a diligent Forklift Driver in our Bindery Department, with a high regard for detail to transport and load production material by prescribed procedures and principles  while maintaining safe occupational health and safety standards. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Shift Leader. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Completing daily check sheets on Forklift equipment 
• Receiving, transporting and loading of production material to prescribed procedures and standards
• Reporting any faults on the forklift to the Supervisor 
• Forklift certification per OHS standards
• Ensuring a safe and accident-free environment 
• Adherence to all safety regulations and work standards 
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained 

Educational Requirements    

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent 

Experience Requirements    

• 1 - 2 years' experience within a warehouse environment
• Previous experience within a FMCG environment 

Skills and Competencies    

• Valid Forklift Driver's license 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Excellent time and attendance 
• The ability to handle pressure 
• Interpersonal communication
