Forklift Driver at RCL Foods

• RCL FOODS is seeking a Forklift Driver to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Team Leader. The key purpose of this role is to ensure that the correct stacking of pallets is followed as well as accuracy in the capturing of finished goods transferred to cold storage-Specific to Beverages.

Minimum Requirements    
Qualifications

• Minimum matric and/or NQF 4 Equivalent
• Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence
• A Valid Power Pallet Truck Licence would be advantageous

Work Experience

• 2 years operating a Forklift in a operations/warehouse/stores environment
• Basic Computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities

Operations

• Collection and offloading of packaging materials and raw materials in the production area.
• Inspect received materials and completed applicable checklists.
• Ensure pallet quantities are verified and captured on the system before transferring to the cold storage area.
• Ensure pallents are readily available for stacking on the production line.

Safety Compliance

• Operate forklifts in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies.
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
• Report any non-conformances identified to supervisor.
• Daily and continuous housekeeping of area.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of transferred pallet to the cold storage area.
• Complete checklists and logs for equipment usage and inspections.
