Forklift Driver at Tiger Brands

• To move finished goods within the Warehouse, load trucks and serve as the front line for damage control.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ensures that the forklift is in a good working condition by completing the checklist of worthiness before operating the machine.
• Reports damages or faults to the Forklift to Warehouse Manager.
• Checks the picking slip to ensure that it corresponds to the finished goods.
• Counts and records the number of pallets and storage area from where finished goods were retrieved.
• Loads finished goods onto the trucks that transport them to the off-site Warehouse or directly to Customers.
• Follows correct procedure to load the different trucks.
• Transfers finished goods to allocated space in warehouse.
• Moves product to correct allocation during change overs.
• Transfers products to bays and checks that they are allocated to correct bays
• Removes damaged boxes and repacks pallet.
• Records damages in book.
• Assists other Forklift Drivers in other areas as and when required.
• Housekeeping

Experience

• Matric
• 2 Years relevant experience
• Must have a Forklift driver’s license
• Must be able to read and write
