Forward Logistics Controller at Barron

Job Objectives;

• Frontline collections
• Order dispatching to clients.
• Resolve order escalations.
• Provide in-person customer service.
• Manual delivery note verification.
• Invoice generation.
• Ensure all PCP, PND and invoices are complete.
• Delivery Dispatch
• Dispatching orders to 3PL.
• Execute urgent delivery requests.
• Build relationships with 3PL.
• Validate orders dispatched to 3PL verses orders received.
• Order prep for Barron deliveries.
• Invoice generation for international orders.
• Cancellation and stock control
• Isolate and escalate cancelled orders.
• Handover cancelled orders to the returns team.

Customer service;

• Build relationships with clients.
• Manage customer service.
• Project planning
• Assist in assigned forward logistics projects.
• Check all required documents.
• Dispatch final products to clients’ requirements.

People Management;

• Assist logistics coordinator with scheduling the forward logistics team.
• Control timekeeping of the forward logistics team.
• Route planning
• Preparation of next-day shipments according to routes.
• Handover shipments to the Barron driver.

Qualifications

• NQF 4 – Matric – Essential
• NQF 5 – Supply chain Management – Essential

Experience;

• Dispatching and customer service – 1-2 years – Essential
