Job Description

This role forms a business relationship and management link between OM MFC Franchises. This ensures the effective marketing and new business growth of Old Mutual products through the aforementioned Franchises. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts and expert knowledge in administration, product and resolution. Act in a consulting intermediary role with the franchise to ensure that the Franchise meets required targets.

• Markets Old Mutual MFC services and products to the Franchise business.
• Markets Old Mutual/MFC value proposition
• Assist in developing and securing new business
• Increase Franchises effectiveness and maximizes business potential
• Identify, schedule, and facilitate ongoing and ad-hoc training of new and existing Franchise Agents and Franchise principles.
• Builds and maintains relationships with Franchises
• Facilitate all Agent and Franchise Principle on-boarding (incl. pre-vetting)
• Ensuring compliance is met in line with the regulatory governance
• Provide admin support to the FP’s
• Download Commission and pay slips
• Statements for FP’s and FA’s
• Distribute accreditation letters after completion of training

Marketing

• Motivate, encourage, and guide Franchises to effectively drive Old Mutual MFC products and services, through the constant provision of reports available to them.
• Assist in identifying and closing opportunities for Franchises where possible with marketing presentations and general assistance.
• Continuously communicate Old Mutual’ s value proposition to Franchise stakeholders.
• Communicate and provide continuous upskilling of OM tools, processes, products and services ensuring Franchises effectiveness.

Relationship Building

• Builds and manages valued and trusted partner relationships with Franchise through effective customer profiling and ongoing communication and interaction to ensure Franchise needs are met.
• Builds relationships with Franchises.
• Assists Franchise growth and market development through ongoing recruitment of new Franchise’s and Agents in line with set targets and protocols
• Trains and upskills new and existing Franchise agents with regards to OM products and industry and/or legislative changes.
