Location: Durban (National travel as required)

• Are you passionate about identifying and developing high-quality franchise partners who enable sustainable business growth?
• We are looking for an experienced Franchising Manager to support the execution of our franchise growth strategy by attracting, evaluating and onboarding franchisees who will contribute to the continued expansion of our brands.
• This role goes beyond franchise sales—it focuses on building a pipeline of financially capable, operationally strong and culturally aligned franchise partners while ensuring an exceptional franchisee journey from initial enquiry through to successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees through proactive sourcing, referrals, marketing campaigns and franchise networks.
• Assess and qualify franchise applicants by evaluating their financial capacity, business experience, leadership capability and operational suitability.
• Present the franchise opportunity and guide approved candidates through the application, approval and franchise agreement process.
• Partner with Real Estate, Development, Legal, Finance, Training and Operations to ensure a seamless franchisee onboarding experience.
• Identify expansion opportunities with existing high-performing franchisees while maintaining strong governance and reporting across the franchise pipeline.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Property, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years' experience in franchising, franchise development, business development or multi-site retail growth.
• Proven experience recruiting, assessing and onboarding franchisees.
• Strong understanding of franchise business models, franchise agreements and commercial investment principles.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
