Freight Forwarder at DSV

Job related requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) 3 to 5 year experience in the freight forwarding & clearing industry in ocean imports as a controller
• Understanding of the import process
• Must know your incoterms
• Code 08 license (unendorsed) is a recommendation

Added Advantages 

• Previous experience in the ocean imports will be advantageous
• Must have sound knowledge on outlook / excel
• Cargowise or Tango system experience will be advantageous

Main Purpose of the Role

• The control & monitoring of clients import shipment through the import / customs process until cargo is delivered. will be required to pass landing orders & visit clients with commercial teams

• ability to control the operations process with reference to your clients shipments
• administrative duties, checking documents are accurate before sending for clearing operating paperless
• responding to queries within the time prescribed
• running dash board from our operating system Tango & Cargo Wise
• keeping clients updated via status reports / what app groups
