Front End Developer (Senior) at Vito Solutions

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Responsibilities:

• Guide and support developers, fostering best practices within the team.
• Lead the integration of cutting-edge front-end technologies and techniques.
• Partner with architects and backend teams to create scalable, user-centric, and high-performance solutions.
• Build, enhance, and refine web applications using React, Angular, and related frontend tools.
• Ensure applications are responsive, high-performing, and maintainable across different platforms and devices.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) to deliver well-tested and high-quality code.
• Develop unit and integration tests to maintain the reliability and stability of the platform.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective solutions.
• Participate actively in agile methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledge of backend software development.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of guiding the team and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to other front-end libraries or frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Matric Certificate.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• At least five years of experience in React and other technologies such as Angular, with a strong grasp of web development fundamentals including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with TDD and related testing frameworks/tools.
• Expert frontend development experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology field is preferred.
