General Worker at RCL Foods

• As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a General Worker with our RCL FOODS Speciality Spartan operating unit. This individula will be responsible to perform general duties in the Supply Chain space. 

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum appropriate qualification (preferrable) e.g. Grade 12/Equivalent NQF 4 Qualification.
• Forklift License.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team and individually.
• Problem solving technique.
• Must be able to read and write eligible.
• Smartech knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities    
General

• Assist in any activities or tasks as requested by the Warehouse Administrator.
• There will also be a requirement to work overtime on weekends in order to do deliveries or assist the Stores team with onsite tasks.
• As required, the Warehouse Administrator may delegate his supervisory tasks and system transactions to the General Worker during overtime or weekends

Safety and Security

• Comply with applicable company policies including health, safety, environment, risk and quality, including HACCP/ISO.
• Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures. 

Accepting Stock

• Accepting stock from production by scanning all labels to complete the transactions on Smartech.
