    Global Product Manager, Bloodborne Viruses & HPV

    This role supports the development and management of a successful, sustainable franchise, ensuring delivery of customer value and business targets. You will be the subject matter authority for the product portfolio and collaborate across the organisation to effectively develop and launch new products and solutions on-time and on-budget.

    Key responsibilities for the position include new product development, product life cycle management, product launches, and supporting commercial organizations with marketing and commercialization activities.

    Essential

    job responsibilities:

    • Identify customer needs and new product/market opportunities by utilizing voice-of-customer processes
    • Drive the development of new product concepts in collaboration with scientific affairs, R&D, and internal stakeholders
    • Lead lean Excellence processes for global new product introductions
    • Take a user-centric and data-driven approach to solving customer problems
    • Think critically about product and service solutions and engage the development team in tough conversations about prioritization and tradeoffs
    • Manage through challenges that arise in product development – timelines, technical risks, vendors, and shifting regulatory requirements – with professionalism and a positive attitude
    • Provide input to the strategic roadmap through gaining market insights via customer interaction and competitive analysis
    • Serve as the technical expert for the Bloodborne Viruses & HPV product portfolio
    • Represent Global Product Management in new product development core teams
    • Support regional and local marketing organizations with growth initiatives, product launches, training, and commercial excellence initiatives
    • Participate in key scientific conferences and meetings

    Education or Experience:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Understanding of clinical diagnostic products and markets
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various internal constituents, customers and other stakeholders and generate consensus through inclusion.
    • Excellent presentation abilities
    • Technical knowledge and versatility to multi-task across a broad number of products and disease states
    • Proven experience working with financial models and building NPV-based cost justifications
    • Prior experience working within the HIV, Hepatitis, HPV diagnostics field and understanding of disease impact on healthcare
    • Product development and launch experience, including commercialising new products into the market
