Program manages the global retail activity
To role model the Puma Energy core values and ways of working.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Identifies and guides the global implementation of business policies, practices and procedures, ensuring that they are up to date at all times.
Guide the global implementation of the Retail HSE framework ensuring that the PUMA Energy HSE culture is brought to life in all of the service stations.
Identifies the need for and develops the various business tools to enable the efficient management of the Puma Energy operation e.g. the use of Salesforce for optimizing the relationship with dealers, Capital Evaluation Tool, Site Classification tool etc. Works with the business owner to ensure they are current and up to date, e.g.: the Network Planning Manager in the case of the Capital Evaluation Tool.
Ensures that for all global practices a global tool is used in a consistent manner across all regions and countries. E.g., station business plans, reporting templates, discounted cash flow models etc.
Analyses the retail performance and makes recommendations for future action. Identifies and highlights gaps in the performance, both positive and negative in order to guide the required action plans.
Identifies the KPI’s the KPI reporting model, including both Financial, Management and Strategic KPI’s. Ensures consistent terminology and application of the components of the various identified KPI’s. E.g. the definition of like-for-like performance reporting.
Program manages the retail activity of signed off and agreed initiatives. Reports on the status on the all of various global, regional and country retail projects, e.g. status of pilots and trials, and makes recommendations. Ensures that priorities are set between regions and that resources are allocated appropriately. Work with the retail teams to share best practices.
Ensures that retail transformation is on track, being delivered on time and on budget.
Acts as the key user manager for all retail operations IT activity.
Mandatory Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Experience
At least 6 years working experience in retail commercial management.
Time spent within the fuel industry, program management and policy development is an advantage.
At least 3 years management experience.
Experience and understanding of management analysis and reporting.
Skills
