Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst at TWK Agri

Job Summary

• This role involves delivering independent assurance and consulting services to strengthen TWK Agri’s control environment. You will play a key role in assessing and improving the TWK control environment, provide guidance to the audit team and assist in the identification and implementation of controls in the business.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review business operations across the group of companies
• Identify control gaps and recommend the desired controls to be implemented
• Assist business in the implementation of the desired controls
• Track the progress with regards to the implementation of the controls implemented
• Assist in developing the internal audit programs to review the controls implemented
• Develop, implement and assist in the completion of Control Self Assessments within the different business units
• Assist management with control improvement
• Play a key role in the digitisation and automation of key controls

Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, Engineering or related field
• Honour’s degree in a related field (advantageous)
• Certified Information Auditor (CIA) qualification (advantageous)
• Control improvement experience required
• 10 years’ experience in Internal Auditing or internal control development and testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent communication and attention to detail
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Great communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, passport and willingness to travel
