Company Description

• Our client, who specializes in the Defense Industry, are currently looking for a Creative Graphic Designer who can start as soon as possible, or immediately at their offices in Centurion.

Job Description

• Designing of Business Cards, Pamphlets, Logo’s, Advertising, Branding
• Marketing
• Web designing
• Creating of information booklets and Banners and printing of booklets and banners for overseas events and shows
• Liaising with specific departments to determine their requirements and needs.
• Managing proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
• Briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Liaising with printing companies on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.
• Design and layout of expos’ and events

Qualifications

• MatriC
• Driver’s License and own transport required
• 5-10 years’ experience as Graphic Designer (send small portfolio with CV)
• Good knowledge of design software, such as Quark Xpress, InDesign or Illustrator, plus photo-editing software such as Photoshop.
• Web Design experience would be to your advantage
• Must be willing to travel internationally
• Must be willing and able to work more than just office hours depending on workload and designated region time differences
• Well presented
• Strong communication skills and IT fluency

Additional Information

• Salary: Up to R25 000 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
