Job Description

Loot.co.za is one of South Africa’s oldest online retailers. We stock everything from books, to treadmills, laptops, air fryers, lego, coffee machines and so much more! We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic mid-level graphic designer who can bring these products to life over digital and print media.

What would you do:

• Handle briefs from start to finish.
• Design, layout and code daily email newsletters,
• Design website elements such as banners, sliders and visual merchandising
• Help conceptualise new campaign ideas
• Regularly design new digital marketing banners
• Assist with designing & DTP for print
• Ad hoc social media elements
• Contribute within a fast paced team.

This would suit you if:

• You have a few years behind a screen designing and getting your hands dirty in all aspects of design.
• You love the web and are up to date with current design and internet trends. Y
• ou can handle pressure and ad hoc requests, are not afraid of deadlines and going that little extra mile.
• The ability to manage your own workflow as well as work within a diverse fast-paced team.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification or diploma with a solid knowledge of print & web design.
• Experience in eCommerce or retail will be advantageous. Knowing your way around HTML won't hurt either.
• Great knowledge of Photoshop with a good understanding of Creative Suite.
• Be a team player and fit into a diverse and fun-loving team.
• Salary Market Related Dependant on experience and skillset.
