INTRODUCTION
The Retail Life Insurance department is looking for a self-driven, creative professional who wants to grow their career in supporting clients to financial health. ROLE PURPOSE
Conceptualise the creative brief to produce creative work within the scope of the brief that is aligned with the Corporate Identify (CI) of the Momentum brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
• Contribute to the design of the creative brief.
• Conceptualise the brief using existing/new templates and formats and develop relevant material.
• Develop all visual communications and marketing campaign elements.
• Work within the brand CI and maintain the required brand elements while producing innovative, effective designs.
• Place images and text within the correct format.
• Check layout, images and logo usage from brief before handing over for loading or printing.
• Set information correctly for reproduction and printing
• Design work for web and other screen media and ensure that work is correct for the medium.
• Manipulate images when necessary.
• Develop layouts, articles and documents based on the design brief.
• Scan and edit photographs and other images as per design brief
• Proof check all articles and information.
• Convert documents to the relevant format.
• Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders
• Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients
• Make recommendations to improvement client service within area of responsibility
• Participate and contribute to a culture which build rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service
• Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders
• Positively influence and participate in change initiatives
• Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge
• Contribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas
• Take ownership for driving career development
• Contribute to the development of area specific budgets to minimise expenditure, in alignment with operational plans
• Identify opportunities to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency
• Provide input into the risk identification processes and communicate recommendations in the appropriate forum.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Matric
Degree in Graphic Design or similar
7+ years' experience in Graphic Design
Strong Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
