Graphic Designer - Paarl / Claremont at United Exports

Job Description

The Graphic Designer is accountable for all visual requirements within the organisation. Provides support on internal and external communications, events support and supports of other parts of the business.

Key Performance Outputs

Internal Content Design

• Provide visual design support across the company.
• Collaborate with the Brand and Communications team to deliver content on our internal online channels, that engages with employees in a creative yet purposeful manner.
• Collaborate with HR to investigate new, relevant methods of internal communication that can serve to improve the knowledge and integration of all employees.

External  Content Design

• Updates to any existing label/packaging designs under the direction of the Brand and Communications Manager.
• Provide support for any external parties requiring brand- or company-related content, ensuring that it will be used according to our standards.
• Manage all content-creation activities for corporate events and showcases.
• Collaborate with advertising agencies to create/edit campaign-based content.
• Manage all content-creation activities for the United Exports and/or OZblu websites.
• Analyse website traffic analytics and users’ engagement metrics in order to gain use insights and develop strategic content.

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience 

• Degree/ Diploma in Graphic Design
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• WordPress
• HTML/ CSS
• Packaging design
• Photography/ videography
• 1-3 Years as a Graphic Designer

Skills / Knowledge

• Knowledge of digital design (Advanced)
• Knowledge of audio-visual design (Intermediate)
• Knowledge of production (Intermediate)
