An exciting opportunity has opened for you to join our Buying Department of Totalsports, Sports Brand Authority (A division of TFG). We are looking for a Graphic Designer who is self-motivated with good knowledge of Adobe suite print and digital design? The candidate must be enthusiastic, experienced, efficient as well as being creative. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the design and production of all aspects of the buying requirements of Totalsports. This includes creating, overseeing and the production of the brief from start to end.

 Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the Totalsports Brand graphic direction and language across men, women and children
• Creating CAD Designs
• Efficient use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop suite is essential.
• To ensure that the graphics created ties back to the CI
• Facilitate with trend process and need with external trend resource
• To report on market trends and graphic trends highlights/focus as seen or identified
• To provide a useable graphic feed to the buying team
• To create graphics based on the latest trends
• To manage brand handwriting and tone of voice across genders and age groups
• Build and maintain good relationships with staff, suppliers (both nationally & internationally) and key functions in the business.
• Supporting buyers with visual aids.

To apply you need to:

• Have 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
• Apparel experience is a MUST
• Tertiary Qualification is advantageous
• Be creative and innovative
• Be able to work under pressure and have lots of energy and drive
• Be organised, deadline driven and manage your time well
• Be a self-starter and enjoy working in a team, as well as unsupervised
• Be flexible and able to multi-task, with high attention to detail
• Professionally handles stress, meets deadlines, multitasks in a demanding environment and works effectively under pressure
• High level of attention to detail
• An understanding of textile design
• Ability to build colour and story boards
