Job Summary/Introduction

•  Exciting new opportunity for a Newly Qualified CA(SA)! A leading company, based in Johannesburg, in the Media space is currently looking for a Group Management Accountant.

Commencement Date: January 2021 ideally/1st February 2021 latest

Description

Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:

• Ensuring the adequate functioning of Head Office Finance
• Tracking Head office’s internal performance vs the Budget and Forecast and communicating the results and variances to management
• Group and Divisional Reporting
• Building relationships with the various divisions
• Preparing the agenda and arranging Head Office engagements with the Divisional Finance Departments
• Preparing the Consolidated Reports (Management reports, Capex reports and Cash recons) for the Group Financial Manager
• Special Projects and Reports
• Preparing Annual Financial Statements and preparing information required for the Year End audit and interacting with External audit team

Qualifications, Competencies and Experience required:

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) i.e. Completed 3 years of articles, Board 1 and Board 2 Passed

• CA(SA) 2021’s
• Must be from a Big 4 Audit Firm/Medium Sized Audit Firm
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Team player and collaborate effectively with other divisions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong Accuracy and Attention to detail
