    Group Reporting Accountant - Woodmead

    Job Description    

    • Consolidation of monthly actual, forecast and annual budgets for the Group.
    • Preparation of the monthly performance, forecast and annual budget reporting to the executive committee and board of directors.
    • Assisting in preparation for the reporting of interim and year-end financial results (IFRS), including compilation of the financial sections of the integrated report.
    • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to meet the requirements of senior management.
    • Various Group wide accounting projects relating to management reporting, Group policies, technical advice, statutory entity structuring and other accounting related initiatives from the Group Financial Manager and CFO.
    • Development, enhancement and continuous improvement of the consolidation process, software and reporting requirements for Group and business needs.
    • Various ad-hoc functions to assist the Group Reporting Manager, Group Financial Manager and CFO.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric.
    • CA (SA).
    • Minimum of 2 - 4 years working experience.
    • Automated consolidation system experience (Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos) is essential
    • Excellent, current knowledge of IFRS, JSE requirements and modern reporting practice.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
