Handyman - Fast Doors - Pretoria at Bidvest Facilities Management

MAIN OUTPUTS

• Perform tasks in accordance to job cards (work orders) issued, as per Client and Bidvest FM’s requirements
• Conduct investigations, evaluation and restorations on identified equipment malfunction
• Carry out minor repairs and service on all electrical equipment and appliances as per SLA
• Carry out minor repairs and service on all fast door related equipment as per SLA
• Perform inspections and repairs on all fast door equipment
• Assist the artisan with major repairs and services
• Provide constant feedback to the Facilities Manager/Service Manager/Building Manager /Resource Co-Ordinator on restoration status of operations
• Must have a proper understanding of functions of photocells, TLG system and an MCC
• Have good knowledge on relay logics and be able to program doors according to client’s requirements and specifications.
• Must be able to interpret information and error codes during fault finding.
• Must have knowledge of Maxi-flex (Albany) and Stab a load (Efeflex) Fast Doors

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Matric (Senior Certificate)
• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical)
• Valid SA Driver’s License
• 3yrs relevant experience in fast door maintenance tasks
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment
• MS Excel Basic
• Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
