Job Description

• To lead and manage the building assessment function within the insurance claims division, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant evaluation of property-related claims.
• This role is pivotal in maintaining technical excellence, driving operational efficiency, and upholding customer satisfaction across all building-related claims,  in line with the Standard Insurance Limited and Claims strategy.

Qualifications

• Type of Qualification: First Degree
• Field of Study: Business Commerce/LLB and MUST be FAIS Compliant

Experience Required    

• Minimum of 5 years in Leadership Role    
• Minimum of 5 years as a Building Assessor    
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge SIL Policy wording interpretation 
• Knowledge of Underwriting requirements
• Sound knowledge of the following acts:
• Consumer protection act
• Short-Term Insurance Act.
