Head Chef & Food and Beverage Manager – KZN Midlands at Accountancy Placements

• Our client is seeking a passionate, hands-on, and highly organised professional for the dual role of Head Chef & Food and Beverage Manager with strong culinary and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop seasonal menus and food offerings while maintaining exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency
• Lead the kitchen team and oversee all food preparation and service operations
• Manage the day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
• Plan and oversee catering and food & beverage experiences for conferences, team-building events, private functions, golf groups, corporate stays, families, and exclusive-use guests
• Manage both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistently high standards of food, service, and hospitality
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional chef
• Previous Food & Beverage management experience is essential
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• It is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and public holidays during peak operating periods
• Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
