    Head: Employee Support Programmes

    Job Purpose

    Provide delivery and leadership of Employee Support Programmes including, the Dr Holsboer Trust Fund, within Group Business Services (GBS) Employee Services to contribute to the achievement of Nedbank's strategic objectives.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the Holsboer Fund including, 6 Holsboer Owned Resorts, Benefit Fund and Education fund and Gerry Muller Fund.
    • Communicate relevant business information through reporting and communications and management of Dr Holsboer website.
    • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders by facilitating constructive dialogue by collaborating and offering expert knowledge and information through participation in relevant forums.
    • Deliver a world-class service through others by ensuring a client-centric culture through required interventions and a digital strategy and instil the culture of best-in-service level by driving excellence in customer service and optimum service level agreements.
    • In conjunction with the GBS Head of Employee Services and Dr Holsboer Board of Trustees for both departmental and Trust:
      • Prepare, manage, and monitor achievement of the Strategies
      • Manage, review, and approve budgets by monitoring adherence to budget guidelines and taking corrective action
    • Review internal procedures, processes, and standards by complying with relevant policies, Trust Deed, regulatory and statutory requirements.
    • Identify and mitigate risks within the business unit by implementing and ensuring compliance with business risk management framework.
    • Plan departmental and Trust resource utilisation by evaluating service delivery requirements against service level agreements deliverables.
    • Develop and execute Employee Support Programmes by aligning business objective with stakeholder requirements and service delivery best practices. Ensure execution of Wellbeing Strategy for the Group.
    • Provide strategic direction to GBS Employee Support Programmes team by driving the delivery of strategic and operational objectives. Ensure managers encourage staff to participate and support corporate social responsibility and culture initiatives for the achievement of business strategy
    • Provide analytics & insights using dashboards/reports for the ES portfolio
    • Drive process management, service delivery and continuous improvement of Employee Support Programmes services by identify best practices in the provision of Employee Support Programmes and promote service improvements, cost reductions and improvements efficiencies.
    • Work closely with the Wellness Group HR CoE to execute the wellness strategy & year on year agenda/portfolio to the Nedbank Business. This includes managing the admin resources & the GBS expected delivery (against identified SLA/KPI ) in this portfolio.
    • Ensure transformational target are met through consideration of targets during the staff recruitment, retention and training process and utilising preferred suppliers.
    • Manage the performance of reports by implementing performance agreements, ensuring an unobstructed vision, and agreeing on goals and objectives. Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimisation through promoting multiskilling and addressing capacity gaps.
    • Build depth of skills and knowledge in the team of managers by sharing knowledge and insight with team members, ensuring mentoring, coaching and day to day activities.
    • Maintain a capable high performing team by identifying a talent pool through conducting careerconversations and utilising the talent grid principles and developing talent retention programmes.

    Experience

    • 7 – 10 Years Management experience of which 5 -7 years within a management role the Hospitality Industry with exposure in Budgeting, reporting/analytics and day to day operations of resort / hotels
    • Stakeholder management experience essential (Guests, Board of Trustee’s, and Executives, Group HR COE)
    • Business Case writing & recommendations for change/continuous improvement against market/best practice

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in Finance
    • Hospitality Administration / Management qualification advantageous
