Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Management Accounting (Essential/Minimum)
• Management Development Programme (Essential/Minimum)
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Management Accounting, Finance, or General Accounting at an operational and management level (Essential/Minimum)
• Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial results and monitor cash flow
• Proven experience in developing and enhancing management reporting systems
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and compliance standards
• Experience in managing stakeholder and client relationships effectively
• Familiarity with CIMA qualification or equivalent management accounting certification is recommended/desirable
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Analyse and consolidate management reporting to ensure adherence to general management policies and procedures.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities throughout the organization.
• Interpret financial results and monitor cash flow to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop and enhance management reporting systems aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles through scheduled audits and addressing discrepancies.
• Maintain and manage effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to meet business needs.
• Implement and report on budgeting and forecasting initiatives, including key performance metrics and service level agreements.
• Support knowledge management efforts by facilitating information exchange within the organization.
• Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and excellence in all financial activities.
