Reporting to the Africa Regional Head of Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for making the Africa Leadership Team successful in a high-performance and driven environment by providing high-level, proactive finance planning and analysis services for fresh fruit sales internationally and locally. This role manages a team of people who work very closely with Operational areas to focus on sales, costs and the return to our fruit suppliers through pooling of fruit within Africa for export and local customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement and maintain internal controls, accurate costings and detailed analysis
Financial modelling to support and drive effective decision-making
Manage projects effectively meeting milestones and budgets
Implementing and adhering to systems governance and internal control
Accountable and responsible for export and local distribution and management thereof
Create and maintain strong collaboration with business partners and operational areas
Manage and drive excellence through effective team management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
CA or CIMA qualification
8 to 10 years’ experience within Finance with at least 5 years’ Management experience.
Experience in sales (export and local) – FMCG Environment
Experience in fruit pooling will be advantageous
High level of computer literacy – ERP & MS Excel & BI
Accounting, Standard Costing, Margin Analysis, Scenario Analysis
APAC (Agricultural Produce Agents Council) knowledge will be advantageous
